    Regional Strengths in Agro Production

    Tanzania
Tanzania’s diverse geography — from the highlands of Mbeya to the coastal plains of Mtwara and the central plateau — supports year-round cultivation across varied climates. This natural advantage enables consistent production of key crops like sesame, pigeon peas, green moong, and chickpeas across different regional harvest windows.
    Malawi

Malawi’s fertile highlands and lake-influenced climate create ideal conditions for pigeon peas, groundnuts, soya and specialty crops. The country follows a single main harvest cycle from April to August, ensuring uniform and high-quality output.

    Nigeria
Nigeria’s diverse agro-climatic zones — from the savannas in the north to the humid south — enable year-round cultivation and staggered harvests. As one of Africa’s top exporters, Nigeria ships over 1.5 million tons of agricultural commodities annually, including sesame, raw cashew nuts, hibiscus, and pulses.
    Senegal
Senegal’s cashew belt stretches across the southern regions like Ziguinchor and Sédhiou, where a warm, coastal climate supports a production of around 200,000 tons. With a focused harvest window from April to June, the region is emerging as a key origin for high-quality raw cashew exports.
